The START Public maker Lab connects students with the public sector to tackle real-world challenges and create innovative solutions, ready to be implemented on the ground.
The START Public Maker Lab brings together passionate students and the public sector to tackle real-world challenges with fresh, creative solutions. Our mission is to close the gap between pressing community issues and the innovative thinking of young talent, creating meaningful change where it's needed most.
A group of motivated students from START Munich and Public Makers, each with standout skills in design, coding, and digital solutions.
Over six to eight weeks, participants team up to tackle three key challenges from local government and public administration, tailoring solutions to real needs.
Students work closely with stakeholders, sharing progress in regular pitching sessions and adapting based on feedback, aiming to deliver MVPs ready for testing and real-world use.
We are happy to connect with students passionate about innovation and entrepreneurship of all backgrounds, as well as partners open to collaboration with driven students and looking for stellar talent in Munich’s ecosystem.
