Who is SmartAIs: We are an early-stage startup developing an outdoor obstacle avoidance app designed to help blind people navigate safely and independently. Our current MVP operates in real-time on smartphones without requiring an internet connection, already demonstrating a significant impact for blind users. We are excited to bring this product to market next year—with your help!

What are we looking for: We are seeking 3 Tech interns for a 6-month full-time position (35-40 hours per week). Upon completing the internship, there is the possibility of being hired as an early employee with excellent benefits. We are looking for candidates in Munich with a background in robotics, autonomous driving, computer vision, and software development.

Open Positions:

1. Software Development Intern: Experience in C++, Python, and iOS app development (ROS experience is a plus).
2. Deep Learning and Computer Vision Intern: Responsible for training using representative data, optimizing, and deploying reliable models on iPhones (experience in stereo depth and monocular depth estimation is a plus).
3. Outdoor Autonomous Navigation Intern: Experience in sensor fusion with GPS, mobile robot navigation, and autonomous driving.
